Who We Are

Engineers who design, build, and stand behind thermal processing equipment that performs

We’re manufacturing people. We respect hard work, direct conversations, straight answers, and the satisfaction that comes from making something that runs right.

“Badass products from badass people” is a standard here. You’ll see it in clean builds, disciplined controls integration, and repeatable performance on the floor. You’ll hear it in every conversation with our team. We’re passionate about industrial oven engineering and builds, and we’re good at it.

What we believe
(and how we prove it)

Good ovens aren’t accidents. They come from first principle design applied early in the program and carried out in production:

  • Airflow distributed the way physics requires, guided by ducting, baffling, and recirculation strategy
  • Temperature uniformity designed in and verified with documented multi-point mapping before handoff (e.g., 9-/12-point protocols with acceptance criteria)
  • Conveyance (carriers, fixtures, spacing) that moves parts without choking airflow or creating cold spots
  • Thermal expansion accounted for in frames, joints, and service paths so alignment consistently holds at temperature

When complexity or tolerance demands it, we use Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation and analysis to catch issues before steel is cut.

The goal is simple: fewer change orders, smoother startup, and stable performance at rate.

Why we’re different

We excel on complex, higher-value projects where details and handoffs make or break outcomes: custom conveyance, integrated controls, unusual part geometries, exacting specs.

The work is engineer-to-engineer. We ask the hard questions up front, design with lifecycle and maintenance access in mind, and build for the reality of shift change, heat, dust, and deadlines.

What to expect

  • Direct communication. Trade-offs explained and information shared with no hedging or drama
  • Documented performance. Multi-point uniformity mapping and clear operating parameters at hand-off
  • Equipment you can rely on. Clean builds, labeled I/O, real service clearances, and maintenance measured in minutes, not hours
  • People who show up. Installation and training by the people who built the system, and responsive support afterwards

Our Story

At Precision Quincy, we design and build thermal processing systems for industrial operations where uptime, safety, and repeatability are non-negotiable.

Since 1943, we’ve earned our reputation on heavy-duty batch ovens built in the U.S. and proven on real production lines. The equipment we shipped decades ago is still running in plants because we design, fabricate, and support it for the long haul, not one-time installs.

When Infatrol joined Precision Quincy, we combined that batch oven foundation with deep experience in integrated, controls-heavy thermal systems. Today we engineer and support custom ovens and complex lines that tie into conveying, material handling, and plant-wide control architectures.

We also stand behind the Infatrol fleet still in the field. If you own an Infatrol system, you’re in the right place: we know the lineage, we’ve advanced the designs, and we provide service, critical parts, and controls upgrades or retrofits/rebuilds, and full replacement when the time is right.

We’re a thermal processing company first. Every project starts with understanding your process and ends with an oven that helps you:

  • Keep product and people safe with consistent, compliant performance

  • Improve flow by reducing bottlenecks, manual moves, and unplanned downtime

  • Lower total cost to run through smarter controls, energy efficiency, and easier maintenance

Behind that promise is an advanced manufacturing operation: 3D models feed directly into CNC fabrication, our engineers collaborate on the floor with build teams, and the same people who design your system help commission and support it. The connection between heritage and modern engineering is why customers trust Precision Quincy with the ovens their production depends on.
